⚓⚓ With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform passing away of Cdr Daljeet Singh Johal, NM(G) (00903-A)(Retd)(Long G), 78 yrs, on 11th Sep in Belapur, Mumbai, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms. His wife predeceased him a week ago.

The Officer had a glorious career in the Indian Navy and served on Dunagiri, commanded CGS Vikram, Nilgiri, other served in other appointments in Vikrant, Bimilipatam, WATT MB, Tact MB and FOMA (last assignment), Staff college 1982 batch.

On behalf of President and all members of NFPC we offer our heartfelt condolences to his Children Gurdeep Singh Johal, Pamu Johal, Neena Johal and the grieving family members. We pray that they face the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.

Wreath Laying was done at K Block JVDE phase-1, Kharghar at 1230 hrs. Funeral and last rites at Kharghar Cremation Ground thereafter were held on 12 Sep 24.
