Facilities
The Southern Star Training Area and Sports Complex is located on Ashoka Marg, next to the RSAMI Pune. It has a compact and challenging golf course, which has seen substantial change over the last decade. The course is a 18-hole layout that plays to 5390 yards with a par of 67 & is a challenge with its mature tree line, doglegs & thick rough. In addition to the golf course, the SSTASC also has a cafetaria, squash court and a pro shop. The pro shop has all golf items available for sale. The contact nos for the golf shop are as follows:-

Facilities
The Composite Officers Mess (COM) is located adjacent to the Southern Star Training Area and Sports Complex on Ashoka Marg. The COM provides dining and bar facilities to its members – both in individual capacity as well as for parties.
Membership
Permanent members of SSTASC are automatically granted membership of COM, while temporary members – as well as non members – have to apply separately. The application process for membership is quite simple which requires applicants to fill up a membership form, along with a copy of address proof, PPO, two passport-size photos (along with one each photo of dependents), and pay the membership charges.
Party Booking
Members are normally required to book the venue for hosting a party at least 30 days prior to the date, by filling and submitting an application letter, which includes an undertaking to abide by certain rules.
In case the booking is cancelled, cancellation charges are applicable based on the number of days before the event it is notified.
