Dear Members,

1. With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform the passing away of Cdr Sanjeev Handa (02457-H)(NFMC-0741), 63 yrs, (22 IC NAVAC, eq 60 NDA), resident of JVV Powai, today afternoon 13 Aug 2024 at INHS Asvini, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms.

2. The Officer had a glorious carrier in the Navy as a Fighter Pilot and later as Gen (X) officer in Chukkar Sqn, Deepak, Suvarna, NOIC (Guj) and FOMAG offices.

3. Post retirement he settled down in JVV Powai. His daughter LtCdr Mayurika Handa joined SSC (Navy) as a Logistics Officer and has recently retired from MO(Mbi).

4. On behalf of President and all members of NFPC we offer our heart felt condolences to his wife (NOK) Mrs Amelia Handa, LtCdr Mayurika Handa(Daughter), Vidur Handa (Son) and the grieving family members. We pray that they face the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.
