With profound grief, we regret to announce the sad demise of Cdr KP Shashidharan (01901W) at his home ‘ Paleri’ at Nettoor, Maradu, Ernakulam 682304 on 10 Oct 2025 due to illness.

He is survived by his wife Mrs Chitra Shashidharan, Arvind ( son) and Anusuya (daughter). At the time of demise hewas 67 yrs old.

Cdr Shashidharan was an alumnus of 52 NDA (Charlie Sqn) Course and was commissioned in the Navy on 01 July 78. He specialised in Communications and EW. He had undergone advanced EW course at Russia and commanded INS Nipat and ICGS Vajra.

He was also CI Signal School. Prior to retirement from active service he was the Oic of COMNETCEN Delhi.

The funeral was held at Nettoor crematorium.
