Dear Members,
With profound grief and a heavy heart, we regret to inform the sad demise of Cdr Satyendra Singh Kushwaha (40308-H). He was 77 years old and breathed his last on 11 Nov 2025, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms.
2. Cdr Satyendra Singh Kushwaha was commissioned on 14 Jul 1969 as an Engineer Officer of the UES 1/69 batch after completing Mechanical Engineering from MITS Gwalior. He served on INS Delhi, Western Naval Command and INS Amba. Selected for a Nuclear Engineering course at BARC in 1974, he became part of the founding team of the ATV Project that led to India’s first nuclear submarine, INS Arihant. He later pioneered submarine RO technology and served in Quality Assurance at BHEL. After retiring in 1996, he worked as a Vice President in a German engineering firm and then ran a successful township construction business.
3. On behalf of the President and all members of NFPC, we offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his wife, Mrs Neeta Kushwaha, his daughter Mrs Sonal Choithani, his son Mr Sanil Kushwaha, their spouses, and the grieving family. We pray that they find courage and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
