With profound grief and heavy heart, regret to inform sad demise of Lt Jagdish Pal Singh Khokhar (01061-K), 76 yrs, on 03 May 2026 in Goa, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms.

The Officer had a glorious tenure in the Indian Navy as An exceptional fighter pilot who was commissioned in Dec 69 and retired in Dec 76. He served with distinction in INAS 551, INAS 300 and NARO. One of the very few pilots who underwent the Ships Diving COURSE, he had a larger than life, adventerous spirit . Post retirement he started a Diving company ‘Abhay Ocean’ named after his son. He did very well until the onset of Alzheimer’s resulting in general memory decline.

A very generous and kind hearted soul with a dapper and suave dress sense and a large hearted personality. He is survived by a daughter Aaisha and son a son, Abhay.

On behalf of President and all the members of NFPC we offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his Daughter (NOK), Ms Aaisha, Son Abhay and and the grieving family members. We pray that they bear the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.

Last rites and Funeral planned at St Inez crematorium Panjim, Goa at 10 AM on Sat 09 May 2026.
