Dear Members,

1. With heavy hearts and sorrow, we regret to inform that Rear Admiral Narayan Krishnan, AVSM,VSM (60097 H) departed for Heavenly abode in Chennai at 0612 h on 21 Oct 2024.

2. He was commissioned on 15 May 1965 and retired on 31 Dec 1994.

3. During his illustrious career of 39 years, he had served onboard INS Vikrant, Talwar, Bramhaputra, and Ganga.
His major appointments included Staff Officer to Adm RL Periera as CINC South, CINC West, and CNS. Deputy Naval Advisor at Moscow, MS Vizag, CO INS Hamla, DLS, ACOP PC & CP.

4. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Geetha Krishnan, and daughters Anupama and Aparna.

5. May God Almighty give strength and fortitude to the family to bear this loss.
