NFPC Visit to INS Shivaji – 23rd February 2025

Cmde Sameer Chaudhry, Commanding Officer, INS Shivaji and his team have kindly consented to the Visit of NFPC Veterans/ Veer Naaris and families to INS Shivaji on Sunday, 23 Feb 2025. It would be like a picnic cum educational visit to see the new developments in the base.

The broad programme is as listed below:-

• 0800-0900 h – Arrive INS Shivaji.
• 0900-0915 – Wreath Laying ceremony at War memorial.
• 0930-1000 – Refreshments at NOI
• 1000-1130 – Visit to Station facilities/ Museum.
• 1130-1230 – Visit NBCD school.
• 1330-1500 – PLD/Lunch at WTC followed by aqua activities
• 1500 Onwards – Depart as convenient.

A token contribution of Rs 500/- per person is payable towards refreshment, lunch and beverages expenditure. In case of adequate number of volunteers, buses will be hired for transportation of all Naval veterans/ Veer Naaris and families on payment of Rs 500/- per person. The buses will have pick-up points enroute as given in the Google form. For Veterans/ Veer naaris travelling by own car, details of vehicles may be provided in the Google form while registering to facilitate security passes.

All Veterans/ Veer naaris are to clearly indicate their preferences especially mode of transportation and dietary preference. Names of spouses / children, if attending, to be given. Those driving by personal vehicles are to clearly mention vehicle Registration number to facilitate security clearance at INS Shivaji main gate.
