⚓ ⚓ With profound grief and heavy heart, we regret to inform the sad demise of Surg Captain Madhav Krishna Jog, (75061 T)(NFPC PNE 0136). He breathed his last around 2345 hrs on 26th October 2024 at their home 5, Sopan Baug, Behind Empress Garden, Ghorpadi, PUNE-411001, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms. His wife Mrs Lalita Jog predeceased him on 09th June 2024.

Surg Captain Madhav Jog was Commissioned in Jan 1956. He was a Skin Specialist and served in MH Pune and Asvini.

He was also the illustrious Commanding Officer of INHS Jeevanti. His other distinguished appointments include PMO Mysore, Angre, Dockyard and MO INS Magar, INS Delhi.

He had the distinction of being deputed to the Nigerian Navy in 1963/64. His last appointment was ADGAFMS (T &C), from which he took Premature retirement in February 1983.

Surg Captain Madhav Jog was very active and full of life. He was deeply involved in NFPC activities and had a large fan following. He will always be loved and remembered by his friends, mates, and colleagues. He will continue to be in our hearts forever and never be forgotten. We all at NFPC will miss his never-say-die attitude.

On behalf of all members of the NFPC, we pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed noble soul and strength to the family and friends to overcome the sorrows.

He will be eternally remembered by Bharat & Anjali Jog, Sunita & Shree Rajwade, Grandchildren, great grandchildren and all the members of NFPC.

The last rites and funeral were held at 1300 on 27th October 2024 at Golibar Maidan Crematorium.

On behalf of the President and all the members of NFPC, we offer our deepest sympathy and heart felt condolences to the grieving family members. We pray that they face the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.
