Dear Members,

⚓⚓ With profound grief and sorrow, regret to inform passing away of our Senior Naval Veteran Cdr Baldev Raj Katyal (60121-N)(NFMC-0624), 84 yrs, at City Care Hosp on 06 Aug 2024, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms. His wife had expired a few years ago.

2. The famous Bollywood Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is his Son-in-Law.

3. Cdr Katyal had a glorious career in the Navy and had served as LOGO onboard INS Vikrant, Nilgiri, Viraat, and establishments INS Kunjali, Base victualling Yard Mumbai , INHS Asvini and INS Hamla.

4. On behalf of President and all members of NFPC we offer our heart felt condolences to Daughters Mrs
Sumati Bhattacharya,
Kamini khurana,
Shalini Katyal and
Rati Chitalia and grieving family members.

5. We pray to God Almighty that they face the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.
