1. With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform passing away of Commodore Narinder Singh Malik (01259-K) at 1730h on Saturday, 03 May 2025 due to Cardiac Arrest at Artimas Hospital, Gurgaon. He was 75 years of age.

2. Commodore NS Malik (01259-K) ex-38th Course NDA was commissioned into the Executive Branch of the Indian Navy on 1st January 1972. He specialised in Gunnery and Missile Warfare and was an alumnus of Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. On completion of 34 years of meritorious service, he retired on 30th June 2006.

3. During his illustrious career spanning over 34 years, he held several important Afloat and Ashore appointments which were as follows: –

(a) Command of Missile Boats.
(b) Principal Director, Personnel Services.
(c) President, Services Selection Board, Bhopal.
(d) Deputy Director General, Air Force, Navy Housing Board, New Delhi.
(e) Regional Director, ECHS, Kochi.

4. Funeral and Last Rites of Late Commodore NS Malik (01259-K) were performed at 1130h on Sunday, 4th May 2025 at Moksh Dham, Gurgaon.
