In continuation of Navy Day 2025 celebrations, V Adm Anil Jaggi, Commandant NDA, hosted the NFPC Veterans to a PLD followed by lunch on 18 Jan 26 at the picturesque locals of Peacock Bay. The response of Veterans to the invitation was overwhelming and over 285 Naval veterans including Spouses and Veer Naaris attended the function.

After the customary welcome by Lt Giri, Logistics officer NTT at NDA, V Adm Jaywant Korde PVSM, AVSM, VSM, President NFPC addressed the gathering. He thanked Commandant NDA and his team for the invite and making such elaborate arrangements. He expressed his pleasure at the large turnout of Veteran community to this most popular event of the year. He also expressed his gratitude about the constant support given by NDA to NFPC. On completion of the address, flower bouquets were presented to Mrs Shalini Jaggi by Mrs Kanwal Bedi. On behalf of all members of the NFPC, V Adm SCS Bangara presented an NFPC memento to Commandant NDA.

Thereafter Commandant NDA addressed the gathering, expressing his happiness about the good work being done by NFPC and assured the Veterans and Veer Naaris that NDA shall continue to support NFPC in all their endeavors. Commandant NDA gave a little brief about new developments in the Navy and assured the gathering about our all time high Op-Preparednes. On completion, The Commandant presented an NDA memento to President NFPC. A lovely 8 min movie released on occassion of the Navy Day was screened thereafter showcasing the advancements and power of the Indian Navy.

Thereafter Commandant NDA interacted with the Veterans over a sumptuous spread of lunch.
