Dear Members,

1. With profound grief and heavy heart, regret to inform sad demise of veteran Captain Suresh Mehta,(01985-K), who breathed his last on 13 Nov 2025 – his 68th Birthday – at MGM Vashi, leaving behind many to mourn his transit to higher realms.

2. The officer was commissioned in Jun 1979 and had a glorious career in the Indian Navy. He served onboard INS Tir and was the commissioning crew of INS Delhi.

3. On behalf of President and all the members of NFPC we offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his wife, Mrs Usha Mehta, and sons Prashant and Nishant and the grieving family members. We pray that they bear the irreplaceable loss with courage and fortitude.

4. Funeral and last rites were held at Udaipur on 14 Nov 2025.
