Quarterdeck is the Annual Magazine of the Navy Foundation, with each year being dedicated to a particular theme and containing relevant articles, reminiscences, anecdotes, poems and many other such pieces mostly written by naval veterans. IHQ MoD (Navy) has launched the maiden edition of ‘Sagar Samvad’ magazine on the occasion of 8th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day. This magazine aims to provide valuable inputs to Ex-Servicemen, not only to stay updated with the latest policies, developments and events, but also to remain well-connected with the Indian Navy. The chapters include DESA Updates, the Naval Regimental System (NRS), ECHS, DGR News, KSB, Canteen News, INBA ad NGIS news, DNE news, pension related issues, important contact details, important websites, and a photo gallery.

The Indian Naval Despatch Foundation (INDEF) promotes research and awareness in maritime domain among policy makers, strategic community, think tanks, intelligentsia, economists, educationists, security analysts, private institutions, media and general public at large and provide constructive inputs for policy formulation. This would also be achieved through publications of Indian Naval Despatch, the Flagship Journal of the IN, and utilisation of other suitable media.
